Hi Everyone,
One aspect which has not been mentioned here to the best of my knowledge, is racquet stiffness.
Did you know that the stiffness of all racquet frames deteriate with time, i.e. they go soft. So over a period of time this will ultimately affect your game. The deteriation is so slow that people do not notice it. I would say that due to the nature of the game, i.e. continual flexing of the shaft, the stifness of a badminton racquet would deteriate much faster compared to other racquets used in Tennis, Squash etc.
It would be good to get an equipment manufcturers reply concerning racquet stiffness v time.
