Site support,

I have a plea.

Recently (yesterday) you deleted a few posts of the end of a thread as you deemed them "irrelevant"

I totally understand that yours is fundamentally a thankless task. You need to edit people on occasion and for that you will be criticised and if you miss an offensive post or let it through, you will ALSO be criticised.

I would however go easy on your deletion of posts when they, whilst irrelevant, add to the colour of a thread.

I am NOT referring to my post at the end of the "welsh international" thread, I totally agree with you, it was completely irrelevant.

the three posts at the end of "smash power" however, whilst not directly relevant to the thread, I would argue that they raised the tone of a thoroughly interesting thread that had come to a natural end. all views had been made and we were simply adding a little bit of humor.

like i said, your role is to censor and edit and i completely agree and support you in your decisions, however, in the future I would like you to reconsider the deletion of harmless posts at the end of a thread like this.

I do understand that you will have overiding concerns that we do not see, like resource management, storage space etc to consider. but please do not take the life out of the threads.

That is what is bringing people back to the site.

Dear Loafer:
I second you on not deleting all the irrelevant "posts" because many of the time these irrelevancy have some spark for discussion. Nevertheless, it's very important to mantain a high quality discussion forum. The balance... hehehe...is a tough job(and hardwork, thankyou :) ) for the administrator!!!

Dear Site support:
My humble suggestion to "harmless threads" or "posts" is to "preserve" them by removing them to "relevant" threads. These relevant threads can be new threads created for that particular purposes. For example, remove an "off-topic discussion" to a new thread and let people keep on discussing "somewhere" relevantly :) .
Thanks
Best regards
