Hello our names are Steven Higgins and Carl Goode we are qualified badminton coaches setting up a new and exciting badminton academy aiming to improve the quality of badminton in Leicester and the surrounding boroughs. We are in the Loughborough Sport badminton Talent Development team. We are currently full time badminton players training at the High Performance Badminton Cell in Loughborough and the National Squad at Milton Keynes. We travel all over Europe playing in world ranking tournaments. We have enjoyed playing badminton from a very young age we want others to have the same enjoyment. The reason for running the camp is to offer high quality coaching for your child and allow them to mix with other enthusiastic badminton players. Thus creating a great fun atmosphere where we can teach this great game. Our goal is not only to teach skills but simply to have FUN! The camp will be running in the Easter school holidays for five days starting at 9 each day and finishing at 4(21.03.05 - 25.03.05). The cost of the course is going to be £65 for the five days at Loughborough university. At the end of the course your child will gain a CS Academy certificate showing what badminton skills they have mastered it will be one of three levels in the first course. This is the first course of many that we setting up for the holiday periods and turning into cells that will be run weekly. This is just a brief letter to see if there is any interest out there. 1 i'm really delighted to know about this course at the famous Loughborough University

2 as a father of a 12 years old son, my observation in hong kong is that a lot of parents want their kids to learn sports plus "english as a second language" (ESL) during x'mas/easters/summer but mainly summer

3 UK has a very good tradition and is very famous in attracting kids from all over the world(Europe and Asia) to attend ESL camps. generally the charge for one week(not include airticket) is 700pound. my son went to a UK ESL summer camp last year and he will go again

4 so i hope u will set up some badminton ESL camps(please visit "www.millfieldenterprises.com" for a sample). i think it's workable with support from Loughborough U.

5 also i have some small connections that might help in distributing information for ESL camp

2005 start up and it is now Christmas 07. Lets hope that it is a TOTAL success, that the local schools, media, Doctors' surgeries (anti LARD!) all know and have backed this one.

It is not at all easy in this day and age and takes much more effort and time than anything like this did even ten years ago.
