Phil,

this was a good poll to request and I am sorry that I potentially detracted from it with my additional category.

for a 'formal' introduction to understanding of the term numpty:

1. Numpty
Scottish usage:
a) Someone who (sometimes unwittingly) by speech or action demonstrates a lack of knowledge or misconception of a particular subject or situation to the amusement of others.

b) A good humoured admonition, a term of endearment

c) A reckless, absent minded or unwise person
a) "No. That wisnae wit she meant, ya big numpty!"

b) i.e. "Silly billy", "You big dafty"

c) "That numpty's driving with no lights on!"

errrr who are the (4) ex internationals and (1) current internationals?

I think most people are county or ex county because this website is mostly publicised to these groups.

I had some flyers somewhere from back in 2002; perhaps more should be mailed out to us to give out at club level?

Just to clarify site support, would and ex county player be a club player or an international? That is of course depending on which way you go
