SS,

can you tell us who is the top-poster?

I would suggest that you look at all members that have been here longer than a month (to discount newbies) and then rank according to posts-per-day ratio.

as this is all info available in the public profile there should be no problem showing it.

Loafer, problem is that top poster is measured by quality (with humourous intent) not quantity:

there are only 9 in there I rate according to content, humour and relevance. There is also a good measure of information passing on from many of those whereas others tend to ask questions or babble.

ok so therefore

aah PMB. but i do feel that 'top poster' as the name suggests is measured by numbers. quality would be defined by 'top meaningful poster' which naturally implies both criteria.

Phil,
seems that we should host a party to celebrate your 1000th post. Great job!! Hope you could also think about some more meaningful thread to get us talking so that we will get to the 1000th in the forseeable future.

lets see if we can get you up from 9th place in the posts per day rating. that is the TRUE measure of a "poster" ;)

If you had posted the same table 2 years ago i think i would have been on about 10 posts per day! ;)

I will do my best!

welcome back!

really glad to see you posted again. before your "vacation" with badders.com, you were not only "top-poster", but also one of the top-quality posters. that's 100% "contribution"!

btw, technically speaking, you had been "on vacation" for quite a while. where have you been? do you think you'll keep up with the heavy "work-load" like the "Pre-dec-2002" era?

welcome. welcome.

Ah, nothing like feeling loved ;)

Got busy with exams etc, since i last posted i have passed my GCSE's, passed my A Levels and got myself a place at Uni to do Real Estate Management!

Currently on a year out doing 9-5 in a property consultant company which gives me a fair bit of time on the computer and a fair amount of time to come on here; i found myself looking for things to do and that is when i remembered my account and got it sorted out :o

Not much posting going on since i came back, i remember back in 2002 id get 30-40 emails a day notifying me of topic replies, lucky to get 1 a day now

1 property and real estate sound really like a good career path. who doesn't need a place to live in? how many of us can live in the same place for life? the property sector in London is booming quickly these few years. Is the price of the whole UK also affected?

2 during your "vacation", the posts from this forum are somewhat affected by Hisslor and his associates. some were discouraged to post and left. if we can get more of the "old" and new members here, we might get a revitalization.

3 i really enjoy and want to post more but i'm both working and partime studying for a Master of Edu in christian counselling....and i put many of my posts in "christianforums" lately such that i can learn theology/christian related problems faster.

Sounds very good :D Good luck with it all.

Property prices; The rapid increase we have seen over the last few years is slowing down but theres still room for more!

the most important thing is they don't slump like Hong Kong. during the worst time in HK, the price of a single piece of property costs only one-third of the highest point!!!!! ppl lost heavily in the property market, some jump form high rise while the other went bankrupt...

i might need to buy one flat in London when i retire....
