Jamie is my team mate and he knows I supported him through the Scottish unis, but why doesnt Cathryn get any praise and how come its always the guys who make the speach on the presentation night. hmmm just a thought?!?!?!

Why doesn't Kathryn get any praise? For the simple reason that she seems, to us juniors at least, that she thinks the sun shines out of her a**e. I don't know her to talk to because she doesn't lower herself to my level, but I've seen her compete loads of times and she is definitely running scared when it comes to playing folk like me!!!

To be fair, Kathryn has played and few tournaments this year and only lost to the top juniors.

She can not play you just lurking if you do not enter for instance the Senior Nationals where everyone
turned up. Did you play that tournament?

The reason she doesn't get any praise is because she isn't very good, she can't even beat the top or higher ranked juniors never mind people her own age (seniors) such as rita, susan or michele.

...With the acception of Jaclyn Gilliland.

You are both being unfair on a Scottish Senior who has perhaps not trained as much as in previous
years due to other committments.

Comparing any Scottish players with Susan or Rita is harsh as these two are ranked in the top 30/40 in the world. Clearly ladies singles is our strongest discipline.

Does Michelle play any Scottish tournaments?Is she not the one who is hiding.

At lease Kathryn played a few and has in the past won some senior tournaments.

Can the same be said of Just Lurking, how many senior tournaments has she played? Has she won a match in senior tournaments?

If Opinion knows who it is perhaps they could answer.

I think that's really unfair saying that Kathryn thinks 'the sun shines out of her a**e'. I played her for the first time at the BUSA Nationals this year and even though the match was just a formality for her and her partner (we managed to win one point!!) she still played properly and was really friendly unlike some of the other seeded players I ended up playing.

Note to self - only post when you havent been drinking!!! Seriously, I have been watching Kathryn over a period of perhaps 2-3 years and have come to the conclusion that she doesn't seem to have much time for juniors in particular - if you have been treated well than I wholeheartedly apologise- but there are numerous people who will verify that, and she is by no means alone when it come to seniors just treating the best juniors as cannon fodder. Rita is just fantastic, but Susan - well - let's just leave her well alone!!
