With the German open starting tomorrow, which is the best site to use, to keep up with the results and news?

I think this one is supposed to be quite good, it's the official one.

Many thanks to you both
Smith took a game off Kendrick Lee
Ghaffar plays Dicky Palyama which will be tough and Kidd plays Chen Yu which is even tougher.
Blair/Robertson have another tough draw, will have to beat Chinese no.1 in second round to progress.

Blair and Munt have cruised through (not as well as Robertson and Emms) but unfortunately Clark and Kellogg have gone out in 3 sets.

What happened to Rice? wasn't he meant to be playing in the men's singles as well?

There is a rule in national tournaments in this country - that you won't get put onto court after 10pm. That presumably doesn't apply abroad.
If my memory serves me right.........Tine Rasmussen won the Danish Nationals, so Cann's performances keep getting better and better, after cleaning up in this country....she's now2 days on from winning the elite, just beaten the Danish National Champion. A Star performance, now has a tough one against an import playing for Holland.

I thought the rule over here was that the organisers could ask for a match to be played after 10PM, but you do not have to play if you don't want to

Obviously supporting all the English left.
I reckon mixed title will go to Zhang and Gao, regardless of rankings and with Kim and Ra not playing together anymore....these two are the best pair in the world. I think they'll win this....then go on and claim another All England title next week......but fingers crosed I'm wrong and the English win it all!!!
All England titles:
MS - Smith
LS - Cann
MD- Archer and Clark
LD - Kellogg and Emms
MX - Robertson and Emms
Think I'm being a bit hopeful!
More like:
MS - Lin Dan/Peter Gade
LS - Another Chinese woman (Zhang Ning's top at mo, I think)
MD - Candra/Sigit
LD - Gao/Hwang
MX - Zhang/Gao
Great win for Cann, hopefully her international results can start to match her excellant domestic form. When was the last time we had a no.1 woman at 10 in the world and a number 2 who can beat the top dane!
All England ms draw is online, Ghaffar looks set to meet Palyama again in 2 nd round. SMith has a Korean, Honey has Jonasen, Rice has Boesen and Kidd plays a candian and then likely Roslin Hashim. However when you see that Xia Xuanze has Lee Hyun II in first round you can see how tough the draw is!

it's touching to see such overwhelming patriotism :p
but how come you're so sure zhang /gao will win xd? nathan/gail look like they have equal chance of success as well this YGO.
but i'm afraid your hopefulness does not coincide with reality :o . so far, england's chances of winning are only on nathan/gail for the xd.
i would like to have a go at predicting the eventual winners for all england, but seeing this is the german open thread, i'll save my prophecy till then. but gao/huang are performing so well anymore, i'd say the top women pair will be hardest to beat.

That is a great result! Good for them, proving the doubters wrong after the Olympics. Good to see a non-chinese final http://www3.milon.de/sport/turniertag.php?DisziplinID=5&Tag=5

offtopic but still...
for the all england;
Ms: if he wants it as bad as he says he does, taufik will win, if not lin. But if he wants it, taufik will beat lin again.
WS:Zhang nings the easy choice, but ill go with Xie xiefang, she seems to have improved a lot and is playing well this year.
MD: English pairs might do alright depending on draw, but i feel indonesia in luluk/alven maybe even candra/sigit (more hope then judgement here) or maybe one of the younger korean pairs will walk away with the title.
WD:Chinese, i see the korean pair of lee/lee being headhunted by the chinese, and i think yang/zhang have the more balanced partnership of the three.
MD: Can robertson and emms get that motivation back for their homecrowd? if so they could get far if not, jens/mette or Zhang jun/gao ling. Jens and mette are consistent performers and zhang/gao tend to perform for the big tournaments.

Let's hope Nathan & Gail have more success in Birmingham than in this event - lost in straight games despite being 14-3 UP in the 2nd.
