I like the way it changed after my 1,000th. I was kind of waiting on something :p

I would have prefered Forum GOD = 1,000+

;)

I think one needs at least 10,000 to be named Forum God....how about forum king for the 2,000?

Well done Phil. Congratulations! It's very great endurance to get through all these(just think about hisslor and his associates!)

I don't like to consort with junkies and addicts so I'll need to be more choosy who I talk to in future. ;)

good comments. so you had better think of some labels that you really want to talk to....all we need to do is to change those labels into some "names" that make you happy talking to.

Bearing in mind your 1000th post Phil, and your comments that more Weegies were getting on the boards, is THIS why the labels junkie and addict were used?

;)

there's a new label: neophyte!

just out of curiosity: is there any difference on:

1 newbie vs neophyte
2 junkie vs addict

when i look up from the dictionary, besides the spellings are diff, the two pairs are quite similar.

In the light of the fact we promote this site to youngsters etc, is it morally correct to encourage the promotion from newbie to junkie and from junkie to addict?

:(

1 it's now from lurker to newbie; than to neophyte; than to junkie; than to addict; than to veteran

2 i'm not very familiar with the UK kids' culture. does the label have -ve conotations to the Brit kids? or it's just very common slangs?

~I think it is fairly common slang, but the most direct connotations are reference to drugs and controlled substances.

just a though, after all I do spend a long time here so maybe addict is right.

oh yeh, when i first came across with those names, i took out the dictionary and find one of them with drugs(is that junkie? couldn't remember well)...may be it's time we need our smart Site-Support (sSS)'s support now?

sSS and guys, what do you think?
