heres a thought. should Guests be allowed to see user profiles. I know they are "public" but should "public" be defined as other members?

just a thought.

Well here's another one:

If you choose not to be seen once you are logged in (invisible mode) you are seen to be a guest in the who's online page - so it might be users who are members who are using the mode of invisibility.

So there!

As per your earlier request: Loafer - Your post is mince :p

Loafer; appears to me that you have run out of things to say but you really really want a high post count.

The art of boosting a post count but posting "mince" is called "SPAM" and spam should lead to a decrease in the "reputation points".

good point, i wanted to talk about this long time ago.

i totally support the privacy concern...members have their privacy...seeing other member's profiles should be restricted to registered members only( ie including those just_lurk, newbies...)it's a preveliage...registered to read profile or who's online....

Once you have registered and read someone profile, still nobody knows who you are so i fail to see what difference it makes in the slightest.

If there are "private" things that you dont want other people to see on the internet then why put them on the internet in the first place?
