world champs

am i missing something? i thought the world champs were every 2 years. with the last one 2003, Anaheim 2005, why is the next one in Madrid 2006? (source worldbadminton.net)

1) could be a typo,

2) Could be one of the "Lets make Badminton more popular by changing some of the most fundamental concepts of the game" changes the IBF have been talking about.

I mean if they are going to let you serve over-arm from the back of the court why not turn the international tournament calander upside down too

The IBF in its all knowning wisdom has decided to hold the world champs every year, this way they can replace the grand prix finals from a few years ago and lose the important placed on the world champs. Spose it might give them something to sell to the tv on an annual basis however.
