Apparently Saturday and Sunday are sold out at the All England. What a chance for badders.com (or get the BAofE or should it be BE?) to place a flyer on each seat before the public arrive, imploring the occupant to go to either's website and sign the petition demanding more media coverage. Just needs a bit of photocopying and a few volunteers to "deliver" them.
Things are looking up though! Gail Emms was actually interviewed on Radio 4's Today programme yesterday and very bright and eloquent she was. Mind you in "The Times" a feeble Women's Cricket story had twice the coverage of the All England - and how many women cricketers are out there? Probably not in 4 figures! It's this kind of ridiculous inequality that the BAofE should tackle head on.
