Ah but he does and for a falkirk fan that is easy to prove! The one and only Simon Stainrod was held in such high regard in the early 90's that his nickname was indeed "God"! :D

As the song goes: "His name is Simon Stainrod, he has great skills and looks like god, he's not a tim he's not a prod, he is Simon Stainrod" :p :D

Explain Larsson then, celtic printshop made a mint with no. 7 shirts with "GOD" on them. In saying that they probably charged by the letter so it worked out cheaper :p

You cant call a football player god. Thats just ridiculous. All they do is kik a ball around. And i think its pretty clear that if there is any god on the football pitch, it would be Jimmy Floydd Hasselbaink!

Printing names on the back of shirts wasnt as common in the early 90's as it is now.

Larsson wasnt the same type of player as Stainrod. Stainrod could create and score wonderful goals with sublime pieces of skill, most of Simons goals were spectacular whereas larssons where simple goals which usually where the result of a big lump up the park for someone to knock on to him. Simon was an entertainer of the highest quality, bit like Russell Latapy another god!! :D
