nah mate, badminton england have taken a leaf out of badminton scotlands book regarding making the bonanzas more regular but they said you have to run them yourself!! i thought about it but it looked too taxing for lil' ol' me and so kent badminton are running one - fair play i say!

ps: i don't expect to see you in kent mate - you're too good!!!

At least the format is a good one if they follow the SBU version, problem is that the two day event they done on the last bonanza was mostly because they only had 4 courts and the event in itself is becoming quite popular over the last 3-4 years but it's taken it that long to be recognised.

Good luck! But it seems by Badminton England not running it that they might be having doubts?

the hall they're running it in has 4 courts, it's the main badminton centre in kent and has just been refurbished so they're promoting it lots!! the next largest badminton centre is in crystal palace with 12 courts or one in catford with 8 courts. the county that covers london is middlesex and they have wimbledon so that'll probably be the next bonanza site, although wimbledon holds regular tournaments anyway, it's just too expensive for my pocket!

on a positive note mate, i'll still be attending badminton scotland's bonanzas - at least i can get badminton partners there.

:) :D ;) :) enough for ya!

see you!
