what does the TH code represent?

It's just a country code. All top-end Yonex rackets are made in Japan.
But different countries have different distribution codes.

Some examples are SP, TH, CH, US and etc. For more information on distribution codes, please visit the following website.

All rackets are original. Latest price list as follows:

NS8k - 120 USD
NS7k - 115USD
Arm 800 - 110USD
Arm 700 - 105USD

Other models available too e.g. MP88, MP99, MP100

IMHO, Arm800 is better for doubles play. Arm 700 is more head heavy than 800.

what does the TH code represent?

TH = Thailand
SP = Singapore
CH = China
US = well US

The Asian Pacific codes are generally deemed the less durable by Yonex officianado's and also not exactly helped by the cheap prices they are available for in the UK import market. Generally around 50% off the normalUK retail.

I know of people who will use nothiing other than CP/CN codes which are the ones given to and used by the Chinese national team only and cannot be purchased as such in any shops as they are not distributed to the public for retail, they are only available mostly in certain shops in HK and mostly at 150% of UK retail prices as they are rare.

Wether or not the asian pecific codes are less durable or not remains to be seen.

I can only speak from personal experience when I say that there is a marked difference when comparing the AT800's from abroad with TH adn SP codes against the UK version and I have personally snapped 3 in the last season and the local Yonex stringing place will not touch them with a bargepole because they cannot hold tensions that well and some have snapped where the grommets are along the width of the racket and also just plain pulled the grommets through the racket as they have just cut clean through.

Also they are not covered by any warranty as they are not UK codes so if they do develop any faults or snap there is nothing Yonex will do for you as they were not destined for the UK market and yonex does not carry an international warranty only country specific.

But that is just my opinion from testing the other codes out.

The only good thing is that you can get rackets that have been discontinued in the UK fror some time like the infamous MP100, Ti10 and SPTi's etc
