Hi,
I've started playing again at 31 - last time was in school. I've got a Wilson Air Hammer T80, which is sufficient for the moment. Thing is I'm getting into some scrapes around service courts. I've looked at most rules available on the internet - and am taking the BAOFE ones, specifically
"10.1.1 The players shall serve from, and receive in, their respective right service courts when the server has not scored or has scored an even number of points in that game."
What two poeple who I am playing with are telling me is that the odd/even rule to decide the service court is applied to the aggregate score of both players, not the player who holds serve, but that is not what rule 10.1.1 states.
I devised a scenario to show my point. It's attached as a picture. It explains what we did in our last game of sigles, but I disagree as I think I should have changed service court.
Any help gratefully received!
