Hahahaha i am touched a whole thread all about me!!! You must be really rattled!! :D

Wonder how this Bonanza will pan out, these overnighters are absolute rubbish.

Rumour has it they are moving the comps about and not in the traditional levels one day, mixed and singles the next.

Anyone any info on the venue? The finals of the peebles Bonanza are still to be played because the social mixed did not finish even at 9.00pm.

Victim of their own success are the SBU at these things! So why put them in wee pishy 6 court halls when they have to be in the equivalent of the Academy or main hall at Scotstoun or even the Kelvin hall as they were of old?

Any comment, of course not, they never do but hate all the negativity none the less

Maybe this time the questionairres could be given out and listened to upon return as this is the main gripe where all the Glasgow players come out to these centres and have to wait ages for games and then the bloody thing can't even finish the same day, I ask you?

Ok, hanging head in shame :(

I wonder how Hagi will get on playing in a competition where rumour has it they are moving the comps about and not in the traditional levels one day, mixed and singles the next.

Does Hagi have any info on the venue? Did Hagi know the finals of the peebles Bonanza are still to be played because the social mixed did not finish even at 9.00pm.

Would Hagi agree that the SBU are victims of their own success at these things! So why put them in wee pishy 6 court halls when they have to be in the equivalent of the Academy or main hall at Scotstoun or even the Kelvin hall as they were of old?

Hagi
17th August 2005, 23:00
Talents dont joke with me, you know you dont have any

There is more talent in my pinky than in your whole body!!!

There is also more intelligence in the head on the end of my knob than there is in your brain!!!! :D

matrix2353
17th August 2005, 23:03
Orite ok alwayz got the feeling you would have something about Pink, as i said someones a worker of The Fudge Factory and i am not sure you a knob can have brains so i find that last one unlikely :( A little disapointed with that one

Hagi
17th August 2005, 23:06
and i am not sure you a knob can have brains so i find that last one unlikel

It wouldnt need to, to be more intelligent than you would it?

matrix2353
17th August 2005, 23:12
Yes again if i didnt have brains then i would be alive and a knob doesnt have any brains at all so I WIN THIS ONE, just bring on the Bonanza so i can repeat this

Phil McBride
20th August 2005, 16:01
You heard wrong then! Apparently the people who play in the open club in the Gorbals leisure centre on Monday nights could hammer you ;)

How did you do in the last Bonanza?

And since my sources are better qualified than yours (in just about every respect) I would tend to believe them

She replies and says yes shes knows the site and to my suprise she mentions whoz name Yes Phil McBride "Hasnt got a good thing to say about anyone". So she cacthes my interest and i ask could i beat him, she says hes onloy a club coach and i could do so fairly easily

Actually I'm not any kind of coach at all, nor do I pretend to be! If someone mentions my name and happens to be female then I would assume it would be either Lena and or Libby (If I'm wrong then sorry). Sum's that one up; as a measure of coaching ability is not a measure of playing ability, so their intalect should be limited but as far as I'm aware those two are both advanced level and shouldn't make such basic mistakes and presumptions so might exclude those two from deliberations since I give them both more credit than that.

Hasn't got a good thing to say about anyone? Hmm............. maybe if people gave a little more for the benefit of others and were less self absorbed others might respect them a little more, but it's nice to see people in their true light and if theyre worried about what someone like me thinks of them then the world is as fu**ed up as it appears to be

But I generally don't have time for time wasting idiots who come on and talk a lot of bull

As Hagi might be able to tell you, or let's face it anyone in this forum who has been around long enough, the people I respect get theirs and don't need me to feed their ego, funnily enough they are the ones that know exactly what they are talking about and if you can even give me 5 names of the entire membership (since your deductional skills are so good) I'll more than be happy to give you the £50 you seek from Hagi in your playing capacity.

And I would suggest you are asking the wrong people who I am since the answer you got is a bit basic and vague and could only come from someone who does not know me!

The funny thing is that I was told off one of your old coaches that Hagi shouldn't even lose 10 points off you in a game to 21 :p funny what goes around comes around.

Ha ha, life is fun!

matrix2353

matrix2353

Phil McBride
20th August 2005, 22:58
Oh that great Lexicon of badminton knowledge

You must place great trust in Libby in that case

Phil McBride
20th August 2005, 23:01
No i dont know the identities of many ppl on this site but i dont really care either

Then it would give you great pleasure to know a few of them are ex-internationalists and you don't even know who they are but you still class them as not worthy of your respect and just post pish aimed at their comments

Is it any wonder why they stop posting and feel this site is not worth the trouble? Ignorance is truly bliss

You don't need to do your research into the game but you could at least learn to read what people put in their posts properly

Phil McBride
20th August 2005, 23:03

I will gaurentee that you will not beat Hagi, but as since there is now a poll on the subject and you have agreed a £50 bet how can you suddenly become a doubter?

I'm sure Hagi is flattered that you have been asking just about everyone who he is and what level he plays.

matrix2353
20th August 2005, 23:03
No i dont place amazing trust in Libby but i find it unlikely she would lie, she seems to think your old and
Average and i can imagine just great

matrix2353
20th August 2005, 23:05
Well i did tell him my name and he was to much of an "IGNORANT PIG" to tell me his. He claims he has seen me play yeah rite, a love it, everyone on the whole site could say that with no where or when. LIES but Hey

matrix2353
20th August 2005, 23:12
And i am not currently in the bet as i said i was backing out of it until he gave me his name, he did not so i will soon decide whether to enter back into it

Phil McBride
20th August 2005, 23:19

That's a good one, old at 29 :o

And I think that if you read any of my posts I never claim to be anything other than a club player, not even a league player or tournament player other than some social bonanzas.

But none the less I will still send you the wrong way on a court more often than not :p

Anyway as much as I would like to brandy words with you all night long I'm off out. But you can be rest assured I will ask everyone in the centre of Glasgow tonight what level Hagi is playing at and wether or not they would care to vote in the poll and also advise you of the response in the morning or afternoon - whichever one I wake up in.

Update on that point: We did have a wee chat about this, with one person pointing out that I'm winding people up again

Moi, I ask you :D

Anyway the upshot of it is that not many people actually cared but the majority that did give me an answer (granted mostly females who have never even heard of badminton) based on the information supplied figured that Hagi would probably win.

Hope that helps ;)

Anyway back to bed for some much needed rest so I can drag my old bones up and out for a game of badminton later on tonight
