Well what an anti climax, the match of the season wasn’t to be.
After weeks of training and hard slagging of the draw wasn’t for having a head to head.
But all was not lost campers, the doubles draw saw the pair in the same pool the following day. So after a day of he’s **** at that and my Granny can smash harder than him the pair returned to there B and B’s to prepare for the following day. And what hard work and preparation Pauly and his partner Rosco put in was truly amazing. Ten pints of Bud and an eyeful of Bikini clad girlies dancing on the bar at Cactus Jacks. How could Darryboy and Co hope to compete against these two athletes?
Well after a stunning warm up consisting of two mars bars and 2 packets of walkers finest, and more than one Paddington stare the two pairs of highly tuned athletes took to the stage. And what a match it was going to turn out to be. The Pauly pair were getting totally out classed from the Darryboy Kids.
As the Darryboy Kids got off to a racing start it was only the Pauly Pairs superb demonstration in the art of ballet that brought them back into the match. With a curse here and that was your shot you stupid ******, with a racket hitting of the floor and more than the one illegal serve the Pauly Pair pulled back into the match. From then on in it was a point for point excruciatingly painful game to watch.
But then it had to happen, it was nearing the End Game and Darryboy hit a stunning smash Straight at Rosco, passing to the left of his finally tuned athletes body and hitting the floor 12 inches inside the back line. OUT cries Rosco, as gasps of disbelief can be herd from the crowd of two. Well that was the turning point of the game as it went from bad to worse, a stunning flick serve from Darryboy which hit the line was called out, and from then on the disheartened duo couldn’t answer to the Pauly pairs antics.
Winners: The PaulyPair.

But i thoroughly enjoyed the weekend but the close games which you loose are the worst, like the one against John McCulloch and the doubles game against against Hagi and Co even though the score dont say so. A really didnt know a would be that fast and would be able to run down that many shuttles, things are lookin up for the now newayz

You have some nerve slagging any one off at doubles. 'Big Jim could beat you with both hands tied behind his back with a staocking over his head. And any way where was the famous McBirdie, nowhere to be found in Inverness. Maybe ended up at the cockburn Centre? Or maybe just scared of the Hagi?
