Here you go guys. Enjoy.
Specs: 3uG4 ( available in G5 and G6 ) No 2U for this racket.
Strings: BG66 Sharp
Tension: 28lbs 1 piece stringing method.
Grip: Original Grip
Head light , New LSC system
First Impression:
Initially I find this racket looked kind of girlish. ( Which in fact it was designed for female ). However I also questioned why is it not available in 2U, again Women comes in mind. Paint Job looked nice, in a way it remind me of Wilson Ncode rackets.
Warm Ups:
I have to get used to the timing of the racket. The framed is designed according to the LSC system which I’m not used to since I use head heavy rackets like ATs. After adjusting to the weight and flex its easier to get used to it. I like the feel of the racket when hit. Personally I think this racket is good when used with high tension. The shaft is flexible which help to generate power when hitting. Good balance and not much vibration felt.
Game Time Impression:
With its Aero Shape frame , this racket is fast and easy to maneuver. But I do find it hard to control though ( probably I don’t have the delicate touch of a women ). I need to generate extra swing speed for baseline drives when using this racket.. however I love this racket when comes to short drives. Its fast and easy to use. Net play wise , this racket comes in handy , the touch and feel is there.
Power generated by this racket when come to smash is not as much as the NS8000. But it is good enough for many people, since you do not need it to break some smash speed record! The whips is there. Personally I would like this racket to be more stiff.
NS6000’s defense is good. Reaction is fast and it is easy to play it the way you want the racket to be.
At last Yonex designed a racket for the female since it is the first time that they have a smaller grip size for those who have small hands.
This racket is not suitable for aggresive players. Its more for those who want to take it easy.
I would rate this racket in terms of Feel, Control , Power and Defense. However it is based on my own test and review. It may vary depending on the player , tension and what string you use.
Feel: 9/10
Control: 7.5/10
Power: 7/10
Defense: 8/10
Pros : The looks, Price , Control and Feel. A good gift for gfs and wifes.
Cons: Not that forgiving, Lack power.
Suitability : Beginner/Intermediate/Advance. Singles/Doubles racket.

ummmmm no disrespect meant, but i dont know who you are, the level you play at or whether you are paid to promote yonex racquets (j/k on the last one). if you are the same level as me (i hope for you sake you are not) then i would not rate your review as highly as say a county or national player......
I am not trying to dissuade you from doing this, it is certainly interesting to read and more people should do it, but a little background to set context would be useful.

Thanks. :) I've been doing reviews for a long time already. Its ok if you don't know me. :) I'm sure people who design or make rackets weather its Yonex, Carlton or Wilson are not National or even county players.

I am not suggesting that people who design or make racquets are county or national players I was asking the standard YOU play at to understand the level this review is coming from. that was all

Oic I think i'm good enough to play with county or A level players. Not that i'm that really good at it to be national ( well maybe in my dreams ) :), I still have loads to learn about the game. But i think my knowledge for badminton rackets is simple enough for people to understand. So far those reviews that i've gave have high remarks and consider well respected by some badminton communities. Well i shall not elaborate much. My purpose is to promote badminton and maybe share some knowledge that i know about badminton to other pll. Its all about the Love of the Game :). and i dont even get paid for all these reviews. I hope you enjoy badminton and lets all share the same passion that we have from the game to others.

ants,
thanks for the excellent review on NS6000...it seems that the NS6000 is also good for smaller hand kids besides gfs and wives. :D
could you please also put down your review on NS7000 and NS8000? it will be very helpful to viewers if they can read all the nano line in one single thread.
thanks

you really did a great job reviewing the NS6000 highlighting the major characteristics of the racket!
methink it will be very helpful to the viewers in this community if you can put down as many product reviews as possible especially those hot items like CABs, Ti-10 Ti-swings, MP8899100, AT700800, Nanos...(well, i'm biased to Yonex)
although some of these rackets have been discontinued, reading a review report like yours will provide some good reference points for decision making in getting the latest rackets or a classic!

The Forsaken can vouch for Ants, as Red points out he is a well respected reviewer of equipment and can lay his hands on anything before it hits the mass market because he usually gets prototypes or demos from a certain company or the HK market where all the good stuff comes from!
As for his playing, he can mix it with the big boys no problem if he says otherwise he is being modest. FACT!
Oh and he travels a lot...................

Hi "Ants"
My company has recently made an agreement to bring Yang Yang products into the UK. They are reasonably well established in the far east and offer a great range of products including rackets, bags, clothes, trainers and accessories!
We have good stocks and believe the products are excellent. As with any new range though its difficult to raise brand awareness. We are working with several channels so far in addition to some coaches (and we have an advertising agreement right here on badders.com - see the home page!). If we could arrange to get some of the products to you (or a least a couple of key rackets) would it be possible for you to perhaps offer a review? No problem if you don't have the time, I just think it would be interesting to hear an independent opinion!
That aside great work with your reviews. If you are interested then please just send me a mail. I've been told never to give my email address on a forum but if you visit www.yang-yang.co.uk you can contact me from there or ask site support for my details!
Thanks

dear matt,
welcome to badders.com...especially joining as a sponser...really glad that you posted
it is fascinating to see the various product lines of Yang Yang being introduced to UK/europe such that the consumers have more choices to pick from.
i do hope that your company can give out more information to differentiate the characteristics of each Yang Yang racket("intra-brand comparison") such that it's easier for ppls to pick....eg head heavy vs head balance, stiff vs flexibility, power, control, weight, double, single, offensive, defensive, material....(i must leave that to your technical/marketing ppls to do that)...some other brands use graphic representation of the whole product range characteristics such that ppls can comprehend easily.

Hi Matt,
I myself have read ants' review reports before. I myself think that ants is/are super reviewer(s). I myself hope that ants has/have the time to do reviews of Yang Yang's products.
I myself think that preparing some charts for the Yang Yang brand like the following will be helpful to the brand's development.
Best regards

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this one for us.
We are in the process of updating our product information as we speak and will clarify more details about each of the rackets within the range. I like the idea of the chart also; but sometimes worry about catergorizing the products so definately. Increasingly nowadays as racket technologies improve, the same racket is used by many different types of players. For example one of the ladies at a club I played at was using an MP99 for her mixed game whilst our most prolific singles players was content with with Arm.800 Defensive! (Don't worry they are both "Yangers" now.....) However I thank you all for your input and I'll post here when the update is done, you've given us food for thought!
Ants! Yes I received your two mails however I have had some "technical issues!" They went to my laptop for some strange reason and have now gone.......... I definately want get some products over to you to review so will you drop me another mail and we'll get something arranged? (Very sorry about that).
Thanks

myself,
excellent post again! that kind of chart is exactly what i hope to see from Yang Yang.
if they incorporate some key attributes that buyers look for like:
overall weight, head heavy vs head light, stiff vs flexible, power, control, double, single, offensive, defensive, material...and modify their graphical presentation so that it would look very informational to potential buyers
i think the head-office should do the chart and translate them into 100 diff languages

hi Matt
why don't you use PM? usually when there's a PM comes in, your email will get a notification from badders.com. also, if you use PM, the communication will not be mixed up with other stuff.
by the way,
feel free to check the following thread out and send a PM to denisdee (regarding some discounts, 10% will be nice) who might be a potential customer and fans:
