although i do not know her personally, i have read with interest, susan hughes' progress in the last year. her results are a compliment to dan travers and allan mcilvaines time and effort spent with her. she has shown clearly, that she has what it takes to compete at a high level AND in an event where scots traditionally struggle.!
taking into account susan travels around the globe playing the ranking events that matter, i think that if she want's to take her game to another level, she needs now to look south of the border as a permanent base ala robert blair. robert's decision to fledge south of the border has now shown itself to be sound in the shape of his silver medal in the recent world chamionships, although unlike robert, susan is a proud scottish international with many caps yet to be one!!!
i'm aware though that many of england's leading players travel on a weekly basis to denmark for decent opposition so susan, why not join the in crowd down south and continue the work that dan and allan have done and will still offer, but look to enhance the quality of your core training opposition.
good luck to you in the future.
