hello


i am a new member and am looking to join a local club if possible? i have just moved over from norway through work, to the glasgow area. i play at club level so would like to join a club with a good social side too.

any suggestions

Probably cos this is the wrong place to post this, doubt many people read this section. Try posting in the 'badders banter' lounge, i know there are a few scots who are active there.

Glasgow, Try clubs at:

Gorbals Leisure centre on Monday, open club from 7.00-10.00

Scotstoun Leisure centre on Wednesday, open club from 7.00-10.00

Cockburn Centre on Sunday, open club from 6.30-9.00

There are other clubs about, I sometimes go to the Wednesday club and normaly go to the Sunday one so ask for me if you need any info.


If you want to get better there is an adult coaching/games session scheduled for Thursday nights in the Badminton Academy in Scotstoun due to start in the next couple of weeks. Offline message for info.
