I saw that Wales is now very low ranked in Europe after Helvetia Cup and did a small investigation on their Website and Richard Vaughan website. I was shocked that country that could produce Vaughan and Kelly Morgan appears so very bad at everything. Who is Zhu Min and Irwansyah training??? The WBU website is the worst in all European badminton and Vaughans website is completly full of complaints against WBU for complete incompetence so it seems the country is self destructing. I think all you complaining about Scotland and England should be thankful you are not under authority of the WBU.

I was very concerned to notice that after criticisms the Welsh Badminton Union website went off the air. I was even more concerned to hear that a bunch of angry Welsh junior players demanding more foreign sparrings had taken over the building and trashed the server. I understand there was a news blackout in Wales while the WBU dealt with this very serious situation. I now believe that control has been regained and I understand a new WBU website will appear shortly. Luckily I have a photo of the officials regaining control and I take back everything I have said about the WBU not being effective because clearly the dragon has teeth!

The Chosen One feels another Iran joke coming on!
I seem to remember Mr Vaughan himself being a past winner of the Iran Championships!
Will it be Smiths title this year?

:( Badminton in Wales continues to go down hill.
Far too much bad talking at the Nationals this weekend. Have contacted the Welsh Sports Council and the contact for problems of any kind is the Development officer for Badminton. They are actually very keen for feedback and were encouraging.
