A section from the Badminton England website:
Jamie Bonsel starts his bid to succeed fellow Yorkshireman Andrew Ellis is men's singles champion with a second-round clash against the winner of Ben Stawski (Warks) and Robert Fenner's (Sussex) opening clash.
Surrey's seventh seed Jack Molyneux and Gloucesterhire's third seed Chris Hotchen are in Bonsel's half while second seed Bruce Peake (Hants) has Ellis's brother Marcus (fifth seed) and fourth seed Lee Perry (Essex) in his half.
First of all, anyone who has ever seen Marcus and Andy together will know that they are in no way related. Second the original Badminton England article stated that Marcus was 4th and Perry was 5th seed.
I know that we all make administrative mistakes etc and the ones above are not that important anyway but quite a few seem to be made at Badminton England. I heard a rumour that Rachel Howard was sent to an international to play just the doubles due to an admin error in the entry. I wonder if this is why Lindley/Rayappan have to qualify for the All England when Middleton/Parker got straight in the main draw?

I will try and summarise from what I saw on the Line all day today.
Men's singles
Best match Kettle v Ellis in the semi's. Match went to three with the result in doubt until the last
Final a bit one sided with Bonsells always controlling things.
Ladies Singles
Chapman won her semi in a tight match against Eddleman but had nothing left for the final against Cheung.
Michelle always on top (even playing with a damaged wrist) ran ot an easy winner.
Men's doubles
Adcock and Mills had a tough semi against Liew and his partner but easily overcame Bonsells and Ellis in tthe Final.
Ladies Doubles
Marriana and Gabby were in a different class to Katie and Sarah even if they did spend most of the match in fits of giggles.
Mixed Doubles
Only saw the final as yesterday was the semi's.
Marcus and Sam Ward played extremely well and out thought Peter Mills and Marianna in the first game. Second game was a closer affair with both sides making crucial mistakes at the wrong time. Well done to Sam and Marcus deserved the win in the end.
