Dear Moderator(s),
I read the line judge thread approximately 1 hour ago and it was a perfectly reasonably expressed view by a line judge at the All England. If any subsequent threads are deemed to have crossed the line, if you will pardon the expression, then they can simply be deleted whilst preserving the thread. Whilst it may have been controversial to question the etiquette of one of England's leading players, the tone of the post in my opinion did not merit your sanction. I am sure that a disclaimer stating that the views expressed in this site are not necessarily those of badders.com would suffice. It is disappointing that a site purporting to be the independent voice of badminton is quite the opposite.
Regards,
Pompey.

Understand exactly what you are saying here...but... some of the comments bordered on being libellous and personal attacks are something we do not encourage here, especially when the person being attacked is not here to defend themselves.
However, we will send a copy of the post to Nathan and see if he wants a right of reply. If he chooses to reply then we are more than happy to repost and make it available for comment.

So the person posting as nathan isnt really nathan or did you just delete his post!! This is getting confusing.
I thought he would have been more upset about being told he smashes like a girl than anythign else!

I think it's brilliant that a line judge can come on and post smack - sums up their mental attitude
My perspective - if you can't take the hassle don't do the job. Sports are emotional things to participate in, if you are not prepared for outbursts stay home and knit; if you don't have the strength of character to ignore him you shouldn't be there.
If you're that upset do it through the proper channels as i'm sure they already have and they've probably been told to toddle off.
Get over it
Quite good that Nathan let it stand though, shows how he takes comments like that unlike the poster

Line judges in my opinion are line judges because they are failed umpires, and that is scraping the barrel indeed !!
All of them are Little Hitlers in my book....!!

i myself totally agree with you.
on the other hand, i myself think that the so called "line judge" might have been an inexperienced one! on the courts, most good players are very absorped and devoted to the sports that they are playing...as such, their passions and emotions deep down would come out easily
i myself think that most experienced judges would expect to see some explosive feelings on the courts

Can we please use the correct nomenclature as cleared stated in the Nathan Robertson thread.
Line judges are all henceforth to be refered to as "Morons"
