How exactly do YOU serve backhand? And how are you SUPPOSED to serve backhand? What grip? Racket foot forwards? Move the arm or the wrist? How to stand?

Backhand grip, choke up on the racquet, thumb placed flat.
The method I use is a simple push, using the elbow. The wrist is kept in a constant position, and if a flick is desired, use the wrist at the last instant of contact to flick the serve up.
Once the shuttle leaves the racquet, the wrist brings the racquet face up in preparation for the response to service reply.

Definitely thumb down, racquet head at 6 oclock, too many foul serves Im seeing on Junior BAOE circuit at minute
Right handed player from RHS, left foot forward, can then move right foot thro to attack return anywhere accross net.
You serve low, expect a low one back?!
From LHS serve, same,

What about standing right foot slightly forward, or even standing level. I'm sure I have seen some of the pro's do this?

I cant `pounce` to net shot to post on left/right, 6 foot?
Feet side on = mixed formation on return of serve?
Not good in level doubles?

If you go right foot forward following serve in from the LHS, how do you get across the net for a net return to the left? Just asking, not that I'm an expert!

Wrist, elbow, right foot forward, left foot forward, square on ... it doesn't really matter as long as you feel natural and comfortable. I personally do not move my elbow and use my wrist because I can serve high or low with the same motion. I have my left foot slightly forward when I'm on the right hand court and my right foot slightly forward when I'm on the left hand court. You have to ask yourself what the objectives are i.e. produce different high quality (legal) serves with the same motion, recover after serving and anticipate etc.

Absolutely, find a serve that you are comfortable with. As for the comment regarding 6 o clock serving, I wouldn't go quite that far, personally I find it puts my wrist in too much of a weak position, plus also the shuttle has further to travel upwards and would therefore suggest a flatter serve is better (LEGALLY of course!!!) and I find most (not all, granted) players find it more comfortable to hold the racquet at an angle somewhere in between 6 and 9 o clock, definitely not dead on 9 of course!!!!
