Thomas & Uber Cup selection

Chris Adcock and Gabby White haved both been named in the Thomas & Uber Cup teams at the expense of Rob Adcock/Robin Middleton, and Jo Nicholas/Suzanne Rayappan.
I can see a few upset players with those selections, especially when Natalie Munt/Jo Nicholas have pushed Gail & Donna in the last couple of outings, and last Rob Middleton is ranked 3 and 5 in the latest National doubles and Mixed rankings.

Hmmm. Guess they're trying to push forward what are two very talented young players who could make it to the top of the game. The players left out might be beating them right now, but aren't getting any better (although I refer mainly to the women's selections when I say that).

And England realistically can't win the cup and I can't honestly say they are going to do worse now because of these selections.
