Peter had some type of asthma/breathing difficulties and is having to take it easy for a little while on medical advice. So Kenneth had a clear run but those of us who saw it cannot say everything was so easy and Peter Mikkelsen took him very close in quarter final stage three sets in fact. I think as I have maintained that I see very good things for the future with Jan Ø. and also with other young Danish players like Vittinghus(not playing with injury), Mikkelsen etc

With Gade out others got a chance to progress and show good plays I am not a doom sayer about the future like some others. History always shows that someone can step up and we are the same as other countries, it needs thousands of hours practice to take on the Asians so always look for the best of Europe now at 25/26 years old +

Craig Goddard must have played well, given that Gordon Thompson was on form at the Wimbledon Elite and put out Nathan Rice. Craig won fairly easily.

Good win for Zweibler - after his injury comeback season, taking out the German no.1(Joppien) for previous few seasons.

I presume the Asians do not have national championships? OR do they......does anyone know?

The Korean National Championships was disbanded on Friday afternoon with every game finishing 30-29 (all the shuttles were being called out) ... No national Champions in Korea this year then !!
