what kind of food should a badminton player eat (i was looking for a weekly guide/menu but couldn't find one so if anyone can help that would be great)??also what kind of food should one eat before and at a tournament?..cheers..rishi

If you have a quick look in the 'viewpoint' section on this site, you'll find plenty of articles about food intake, fuelling up before play - also tips about excercise routines and warming up, injuries etc.
It's quite a comprehensive selection of articles, which should answer your questions 110%

Whilst playing bananas are very popular. Also take on water every 15 minutes or so, with a longer drink after playing. I also hear that it is good to mix 3% or something similar of fruit juice with the water.
On a daily basis I would imagine that any good nutritionist would say a healthy balanced diet. Keep off the grog and eat tonnes of fruit and veg (I sound like my mother!)
