Have you seen the live score updates for the Danish badminton association? Fantastic. Why can't other associations and tournaments do this as well, it's really exciting.
Just watched Irwansyah, the Indonesian Welshman beat Colin Haughton. Mark Constable is also 6-2 down first end.

Dutch Open had also their live-score system. It was not bad too...

All they do is an automatic browser refresh every few seconds.so all one has to do is update the html page on the server side. Very simple.
Potentially expensive on bandwidth, but if its badminton I guess not ;-)

Yes, the technology is simple. But how many tournaments or associations do this for their events? Having the scores sent in real-time is easy, but very few events are covered.

Archer/Anderson have to play qualifying, where they did not make the main draw. But Boxall/Hurrell get a place in the first round proper. Can anyone enlighten me how this works?

Dong Moon Kim & Yu Mi Hwang are about to start playing Nathan Robertson & Gail Emms. Should be a good game.

Irwansyah beat Haughton and then beat the guy who beat Constable, can we not claim him as English?

I think Dong Moon Kim & Yu Mi Hwang has an English ring to it. Perhaps they would like to study at the university of Milton Keynes? On a serious note, it is quite disappointing to see so many English players going out whne many of them train in Denmark. No excuse about the venue this time.
