holding and hitting with the racket

can anyone tell me, better yet show me how to hold the racket. Furthermore, can you please tell me how to do the forehand. Just in case, I'm in high school and im a begginer with an airblade graphite...

Hi Huy,

First, hold the racket in front of you so the head is vertical. Then grip the handle as if you were shaking hands with it.

Avoid getting into bad habits, like the 'pan-handled grip' (the grip you would end up with if you put the racket flat on the floor and picked it up).

The backhand grip differs - the handshake-grip still applies, except you move your thumb flat on the side of the racket to play the shot backhand.
