Can't remember whether I read it or someone told me, but wan't there supposed to be a new website going live?

No news for almost a month. You can't tell me there is nothing going on at junior, senior or veteran level?

I am afraid that the BA of E website is always behind the times. It is rarely updated and does not seem to realise that the great advantage of electronic information is the ease and speed at which news can be circulated. The IBF website is far better and so is badders.com! I am not sure that I would go as far as Martin Dew and pull down Milton Keynes but they certainly need to improve when it comes to broadcasting badminton news.

I agree that the BA of E site is very poor in terms of keeping it up to date.
I've tried several times to find a coach part 2 course and if you look at the site the only ones listed are back in 2001 with a provisional course in July 2002.Hardly up to date and therefore may as well not exist.

As much as we bash them (occasionally ;o) the BAofE do their best. You can't fault them for trying. They just don't have the right expertise in certain areas such as website management.

Maybe if they outsourced the website/content management to another company they could get on with what they do best. Getting a helping hand from an entity such as badders.com wouldn't be a bad move.

They were approached a long time ago by the badders.com team. Unfortunately, we believe they felt we were a threat? Shame, we could have done a lot to help.

This is a great shame. I am sure the BAofE would get a lot of people off their back if they communicated a little better. A good website would be a start.
