Hi everybody,
I've only been playing for a few weeks and I'm getting some pain in my elbow. Rachael advised a support which I am trying but it doesn't completely cure the problem. I heard somebody the other day talking about the size of grips and that your fingers (or something) shouldn't meet around the grip of the raquet; it struck me that if this is true it might have a bearing on my problem.
I would be grateful for any comments on this.
Regards, Dave

yeah,
you may have some form of tennis (badminton) elbow. if you increase the size of your grip (use two grips on top of each other) then the pain will be reduced.

The grip is very important. Speaking from experience, increasing the grip size let me hold the racket looser. Many years ago I was gripping it far too tightly resulting in tennis elbow.

The relief from pain is almost immediate when playing although it takes time to clear up completely. I also used a strapping on my arm to help the healing process.

I used to hold my Mp-100 like a tennis racket. I am a advance player and i didn't even know the correct form. The proper place to hold it is middle-top. It relieves pain, give more power and control. It's a good thing my PE teacher taught me this or otherwise i probably won't get in varsity
