English players Results

I have been looking at the results of the English results so far this season, and have noticed they are pretty bad. Most tournaments the singles players lose first round. Something must be going wrong !!!!

I saw 4 English ladies play in the final of the Karakal Welsh International and they all looked in pretty good form to me.
