Anyone know how the qualifiers are going ?

There seems to be a shortage of information on results ... I can only presume that the first round has been played by now.

It is the first day of the qualifiers. The results should be filtering through soon, as they started at 9:30 this morning.

We are at the mercy of the BA of E with the results. Hopefully they will be online soon.

As always the results are available through Badders.com...when they are available:

Your welcome.

We could make up some wild rumours or gossip ...but that wouldn't be fair ;o)

BAE what is the point in providing online results if they are updated at the speed of carrier pigeon. Even the welsh and scottish opens provide faster score updates, the Danish and other majors provide live scoring!

Some results in now. The singles qualifiers have been taken care of just some of the doubles to go.

Looks like Horizon Software and the BAE have fixed their system but shame there is no real time scoring.

Slightly of track - why bother with qualifying sections in the mens doubles when so many byes in the main draw?

After all the chat about him following the Nationals. Sad to see Smith out of the All England in 5 and 1 in 28 minutes. Looks like we're just cheering Ghaffar and maybe Haughton - if the BAofE site ever updates.

David, agree with you about the mens doubles. We have 5 pairs through to the second round, all with byes ;)

Go Ghaff! Maybe I'll get to see a Brit on Friday after all, and a Middx boy at that :))

Anyone from the BAofE look at this site? Still wanna know why all the byes in the mens doubles when the spaces can be filled by the guys trying to qualify. Would also get to see more mens doubles that way.
