I have come across many players increasing their handles by adding 2 or 3 pu replacement grips one after the other on top of the handle. This makes the bevel disappear & become too round.
I use Cork to increase the handle size. A 4 1/4'' grip needs only one layer of cork.
If anyone is interested in learning how to do it, please reply here and I will post instructions.

For Grip enlarge , you need : cork sheet( 6 sheets in a pack from Ikea cost £4 ), contact adhesive ( from B&Q 500ml £7 ), cut cork into stripes, full length all the way from butt to far end of cone( 8 stripes in total ). apply adhesive onto cork stripes and handle, touch dry, than apply stripes onto handle. Trim cone end to taped shape. wrap one layer of PU replacement grip on cork handle, than an over grip on top.
You need 45min to 1 hour to do this job.

Thanks Sam, have you ever come across the grip enlargers that are for sale on some web sites?
How do they work?

Philip - there are many type of grip enlarger in the market, like the one use hot air to shrink to fit. and is not cheap.but the only problem is each enlarger only increases the handle by one size. if you want to increase the badminton handle from 3 5/8'' to 4 3/8'' or 4 1/2'', you need 6 enlargers ?
and the total weight will be far too heavy and the finished handle will be far too round. If you only want to increase the handle by one or two size, than the enlarger is ok. many stringers do use Balsa wood to do the job, but I find the balsa wood does not have the flexibility to go all the way towards the cone end.
I have many customers come to me with 3 layers of PU grips on top of each other, and the size of the handle they want is as big as a tennis racquet !
