New junior grading system

hi everyone, i just wondered if anyone could explain to me about the new junior grading system. I got a letter through today saying grade 2 but I am not sure whether this i sgood or not, I am aware there is 4 grades, but which is highest and how are they selected, it is probably explained quite well somewhere obvious that i have not looked, thanks, adz
