Could everyone remind themselves of the first guideline for these forums:

"Please note that public forums on Badders.com are moderated. We encourage everyone to be as passionate as possible but we do not condone rude or disrespectful behaviour. Repeated abuse within the site will lead to your Badders.com membership being suspended."

In August alone we have removed over 100 mails, edited another 20 and suspended more than 30 accounts.

The moderators here are very relaxed but will not stand for abusive and disrespectful behaviour to other forum members and those not online to defend themselves.

Once again, thank you for listening and your continued support.

Regards,
Site Support.

SS, I think the huge majority of posters would back the editing / deletion of those posts, I think it is the only way to discourage the problem members. Its just a pity you have to waste your time moderating so much.

We still have a few people 'messing' about on the forum and unfortunately making a mockery of other forum users comments.

Due to this we have introduced a new guideline to the forum effective as of now.

At the discretion of the forum moderators, all new registrations with invalid or duplicitous email addresses may have either some or all of their posts deleted, and/or their account suspended.

We hope never to have to enforce this policy but we have been given no option.

Up to now we have ignored false email addresses but we've had at least thirty false email addresses in the last few days and so, at least on a temporary basis, we're going to change our registration policy.

Any queries please contact us at the usual address: support@badders.com

One way to resolve duplicitous email addresses is to have a validation process, where you have to reply to an email to activate your membership.
