England won with Scotland A second and Scotland B third. Other 3 teams were England B Ireland and Wales, not sure of finishing order, England B may have been fourth.

Close matches all round with individuals starting this morning.

Not aware of a website but the individual event turned in to mainly England v Scotland.

The Irish no 1 seed in the ladies singles (their main hope) was beaten by a 14year old Scottish player, probably the youngest player in the tournament.

England dominated the doubles, however it was disappointing that a number of English players played in the team event but did not stay for the individuals - why?

Don't know why the English did not all play the individual but the first team was by far the best in the team event which I watched on Friday. There was not a lot between the two Scottish teams, prob a bit more experience in the first team, both did well to beat all others to clinch second and third spots. Welsh had an off day and Irish were almost there in a few matches.

May be the case, anyway gave a few younger players a chance to shine. Young Scots girl who beat the number one seed already mentioned also played well in the team event and gave the Scottish no 1 a fright in the A v B event. English men too strong in all events for the opposition in both team and individual.

England gents were not that far stronger in team event against Scotland as put in this thread. Scotland won gents singles against England A with Menzies beating Tony Gibson. Then myself and partner Gordon Thomson had close three ender in Gents doubles.

the standard compared to recent years is not as good

The mens singles final was a fairly high standard, and even included a touch of line judge controversy! I do agree the other events did not seem as good as in previous years.
