David, in response, then DON'T read it if thats the case! Hence me also saying to PM if you want to. It was a reference made following on from comments regarding the monopolistic status Yonex has in badminton.

Derbyshire Tracksuit was well good this year brand new Yonex ones and carlton shirts On yonex i find that as a company there ok give me ome cut prices n offers etc but they bring out new technology to replace already great rackets so they can increase the price example Iso swing power i broke mine couldn't replace it oh well got deals on some mp 99's

My dad says it does not matter wat racket u play with or wat clothes u wear on court it does not make you a better player. He did not hav any private coaching but was Loughborough University champ for badminton and tennis and was invited to lillieshall many years ago. He played his badminton in the small village of Siwnford in Leics and was self taught. A very talented player ask Dave Blanch who has always praised him .

yeah but raquets that suit your game do improve the way you play, its minimal, but they do make a difference. For example, giving an offensive, powerful player a head light raquet would worsen their game,

agree... well it looks like this thread is finally coming to an end - would site support like to confirm that this is the most replied to and most viewed topic/thread, ever to appear on badders.com since it's launch?

yeah that is true, a racquet can complement your game, although the major differences are down to your own hard work and ability to play the game. From what I saw of Ricky and Rexy, they played and won the All England with racquets which still had the old "t" joint in them!
