Does the racket improve your performance much been puzzlen me recently over the last six months i have improved greatly and many rackets have changes as well in the last six months from Yonex Swing SS to MP99's is my improvement or to do with youth development (im U-17 derbyshire) or does the racket have anything to do withit at this level? Before i couldn'r recoginse the failures in my player so more likely blamed something else ie the racket, now as i coach and play more i know what im doing wrong everytime so blame me not the outside or the racket.
Whats your view the Racket or the Player
And whats the top rackets in your view to have

hmm, i would say player, but mebbe if you had two players of the same standard, the one who was most comfortable with the racquet he was playign with would win. and their is no doubt that there are certain racquets that are more suited to certain styles of play. but overall i think it would usually be player

the racket has 2 suite te player otherwise it can effect their game. i found i improved loads when i started playing wiv a karakal TI-75,i never really got on wiv Yonex rackets, but i also think the players fitness and attitued 2 playin has 2 be gd in order 4 any improvements xx

Yes take the point I had i definate goal over the six months and playing 4/5 times a week gave me improved fitness (although i exceed what i could take ie injurys to knee ligaments and elbow which didn't help going into ICT recovering from)

Only in Asia or second hand, I don't know why they discontinued such a popular series of rackets.

why does any company stop selling it's best selling racquet? so that the worse ones get better sales. and also so that they can inflate the prices, since one racquet cannot retain it's original selling price.

In the case of Yonex it is to replace an old good selling technology with a new one so that the users are under the impression the new technology is a replacement and also to make the owners of the old stuff buy the new rackets because they would probably have only one to use so would look to the new as a replacement

hey bub,
ti-swing power SX is one of the best design in yonex's product range...it's even slightly more powerful than MP-99..in japan, ti-swing power SX is still a current model
if u still want to buy ti-swing, try to PM jug8man and see if he can quote you a price with BG66...i guess the price including the registered air mailing cost will be even lower than buying in UK

Whats your view the Racket or the Player
racket is merely a weapon!!! a good racket that suits the player's style will enhance the player's performance to a certain extent
sometimes a "good" racket may help a lousy player, eg some lousy players, because of inadequate strength or technique, can't hit the birdie to the backcourt with a Yonex MP55 but the same guy can get the birdie to the backcourt with a MP99/100
i prefer yonex because the characteristics of each yonex model can be found easily...also, a lot of guys in the club can let me test play before even thinking about buying
