Ive seen seveal postings from people over the months asking for a badminton section, but so far nothing concrete has happened...

But quite right; about time badminton was seen as a unique and popular racquet sport in its own right!

We have mailed the BBC twice with an offer to organise an academy for their sportacademy section. Getting some top players together to make a coaching video and interviews etc

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/default.stm

On neither occasion did we even get a reply.

Par for the course really...

So it's all down to the petition then to help raise the profile! Get signing everyone if you care about the game. I wonder if our stars - Robertson, Emms, Archer, Clarke etc have signed? Surely it's in their interests to do so - and it's only a minute of their time. And what about the top U15's, U17's, U19's? If some of them tell the site they have, this may encourage others to do so.

I'm surprised you have the time!
