Hi everyone, my names Ged and i'm new to the site. I have just turned the golden age of 40 though I certainly don't feel it! I haven't played seriously for just over ten years now and I am looking to get back hopefully into the young veterans!/masters and try to recover some of my past glories from my Forces days. The problem I have is that in the county which I live in which is Herefordshire doesn't have a singles league, ladder, or in fact any singles as part of the league format, when I used to play in the Welsh league going back in the 1980's the singles matches used to be a main part of the structure, so all I am asking is does anyone know of any singles players, men or women, around the Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Powys/Shropshire areas who can give me a good game? The contacts here might be able to point you in the right direction.

I also prefer singles to doubles, but to be honest haven't yet found a club that really caters for that!
