im not sure on all the team but just some suggestions to start things off.
boys-raj ouseph, robert adcock, ed foster, tom armstrong, andy ellis and tom dunlop maybe??? girls i think are alot harder though, eleanor cox, jenny wallwork, heather olver, helen ward, michelle cheung etc any one have any other thoughts??
i think also mariana agathangelou has a chance of getting into the team if she pulls herself together.. ive heard she's going to bath next year, radical improvement will be made to her game if she does infact go. anyone agree?

i didnt know that she was going to do that an yea the opportunity would be great for her game but will commitment shine through being all that way from home?
i think she has a strong enough character to cope with going away, lets hope she can anyway because mariana is definatly one to look out for in the future as she is also a left hander, perfect for doubles if im correct?

looks as if the original press notice was a mistake and the team has now been amended.
That says it all for the publicity/press at the BA of E, a fortune has gone in to training for this event and they can not even name the team properly.
They will probably claim they were only trying the same tactics as Jose Mourinhio by naming the wrong team early to fool the opposition

Is everyone the same as me, sick of hearing about Michelle Cheung. She only reached the last 16 of the German Junior, why bother to mention her at all. There were plenty of other players out there that were not even mentioned on the BAOFE website.
As for the shrine at Milton Keynes headquarters about her, its a joke, everyone laughs at it.
BAOFE stop overdosing us on Michelle Cheung!!!!

ouuuffttt, NOT very nice!
Michelle Cheung is a good player but she couldn't beat Linda Sloan from SCOTLAND.
What about the Scotland team?

If the english players are sick of her then the Scottish must be also.
Go to Milton Keynes and see the Shrine.

isnt michelle only like 15 or 16 though? shes got years left in the juniors and could easily become a world class player, but whether she'll do it with this English training system is another matter

I think the enlish system is putting all their eggs in one basket. Lets hope they don't trip up and break them.
I dont remember other players having shrines erected to them. Take Kelly Mathews, she was always years ahead of her age group in singles. I do believe that this girl is having badminton rammed down her throat together with ours. Did anyone see Yvette giving her a telling off at the nationals. Someone told me it went on for 45 minutes and she just stood there taking it.

Michelle Cheung is a very good player, who has proved to be human by having off days recently. This makes her more popular wuith me. Personally i hope she continues to do well. I also hope all English players continue to do well. I would love to see Michelle play Eleanor Cox at Preston on April 1st (isn't that all fool's day). Know where my money would go.
As for the Eurpoean Juniors the team are playing for 5th place tomorrow having lost to the Russian's (3-2)who play Denmark in the final.

Good Luck to England and also all English and Scottish players in the individuals.
Raj Ouseph looks the best bet for a medal, but also mixed doubles must have a chance.
Scottish players have certainly improved, noted their game against Denmark that altho' they lost 4-1, they also had match points in the boys doubles (against the Danes top couple seeded one in individual), game points in ladies singles, went to 3 in gents singles and only lost mixed 13 and 10 (against top seeds in mixed)
Maybe too early for a Scottish medal but the system is certainly producing some good prospects

England lost to Sweden and finished sixth. Scotland beat Czech and finished 9th.
Individuals have produced some very interesting results, in partic the England v Scotland games.
Anybody else following this?

Hi John, did you make it to Preston.
Ok it was only one game but does this not support Elaine Cox's claim to still be
England's top junior girl
