Despite the lack of many of the top players the BAofE deserve a pat on the back for the very professional presentation of the Elite Finals at Gateshead. A crowd of around 150? were entertained with some excellent badminton - particularly the second game of the mens singles with Toby Honey edging out Nathan Rice 17-16.
The event was well hosted and some local dignitaries attended to support the event.
