Since like most who post here i get an email that tells me when somebody has replied to on a post that i have posted on. i've not looked at the site for sometime as nothing of any great interest has appeared, in fact the same few posts have been perpetuated by a hearty few - i say hearty what i mean is bloody annoying. I understand that people are allowed to have their opinions, but on no less than 3 threads the likes of eddy kidd, Vorpulus, Michael HIll, Phil Mcbride and other miscreants have consistently ranted and torn strips of each other for fun.
Site support must realise that these few are scaring the rest off. something must be done. I understand that moderating a site like this is difficult, but it can be done - take a look at badmintonforum.com a very well run, international badminton forum, which to be honest puts this little british one to shame. i'd love to see badders.com flourish as i think our juniors / young players can only benefit from being able to speak to people they have something in common with to air their concerns about their sport. Please do SOMETHING!
Yours
Neil Cooper

Neil,
I disagree with your statements totally.
Most of the topics which are serious still get the serious chat where as the topics where things start to become amusing are normally based around silly topics such as court behaviour.
Vorpulus, Eddy and Phil Mcbride have added a bit of fun to dull threads in my eyes.
Otherwise you just get the other extreme where the same names just talk to each other like about 4 to 5 months ago.

Thanks Stuart, I agree wholeheartedly but the funny thing is that Coops posts on Badminton central and has never managed to get upset by me yet in nearly 1000 posts so maybe what Coops needs to understand is that if he were to check some old threads that myself and Michael Hill have posted in the discussion has generally followed the topic and has raised some interesting points to be put in the mix.
New people to the site go through a learning curve, I think Eddy is new but Vorpulus is just sheer genius in his wit - you either join in or sit back and watch. Many people have posted some complete nonsense which is side splittingly funny - even Stuart a while back but as he points out there is a time and place for it.
Neil you've also got to remember there is only so many times the same topics can be discussed without it becoming tedious, humour involves people in the topics, I don't even know vorpulus, Eddy or Michael but like Stuart their posts made me laugh and come back for more.

Well in that case Red please feel free to click on the little red triangle with the exclamation mark inside beside the green light telling people you are online and report each and every post that irks you?
If you want site support to do something you can at least do your part and help them

You simply click on it in the box that the post you don't like appears and it asks you for a reason why it is bothering you, you give a reason and the resulting notice wings it's way to site support.
