Dear All,
I thought I would give advance notification of the forthcoming Duchy of Cornwall Open Championships jointly sponsored by this website (badders.com) and TAG Sports (in conjunction with Yonex UK Ltd.) to be held at the 8 court Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Pool, Redruth on SAT/SUN 18th and 19th SEPTEMBER 2004.
The Championships are a BA of E Satellite event and therefore competitors will gain valuable ranking points as they progress through the tournament.
These popular Championships will have the following disciplines:
Mens and Ladies Singles
Mens and Ladies Doubles
Mixed Doubles.
There will be a plate event (time permitting) for all first game losers in all events with the exception of the Mixed event which will be played on a round robin basis.
PROGRAMME OF EVENTS:
SAT: From 10 a.m.Men's and Ladie's Singles to a completion.
SAT: From 1 p.m.approx.Mixed Doubles - up to and including Semi Finals.
SUN: From 10 a.m. Mixed Doubles FINAL
Mens and Ladie's Level Doubles to a finish.
Entry forms will shortly be sent out. However, if you have not competed before and feel you would like to be a part of our popular Championships you can either contact me initially through this site by sending me an IM to give me details of your name and address or very soon an entry form will be posted on this site to either download or access.
