Does anyone know when & where the Warwickshire Restricted Tournament is taking place this year?
It would be also good to find out if this was a round-robin event or general knockout competition as I would be more inclined to take part if I was guaranteed of several games?

Cheers,
Paul

At a guess I'd say Warwickshire but I couldn't tell you for sure.

Paul I had a quick look on the warwickshire web site and it wasn't very informative.

I hope mailing the person above will answer your question.

Paul (and anyone else interested),

The Warwickshire restricted will be held at St Augustines SC in Coventry on the weekend of Sat/Sun 2nd/3rd October. If you want an entry form I will be able to email them to you. My address is croe-at-dcs.warwick.ac.uk.

Cheers,
Chris.

Just to say that I enjoyed playing in this tournament last weekend. I was also glad to see such a good turnout. I was also pleased to see that a round robin format was used in the early stages as it meant that I wasn't sent packing after my first game of the tournament. It was a bit unlucky that we were put in the same group as Chris Roe. Were we the first seeds or was it you, Chris?

Thanks for giving us 2 points in each game by the way. You will obviously appreciate the skilled way in which we picked up the shuttle for you. This has obviously taken years of dedicated practice.

Seriously, I would recommend people in Warwickshire to enter this tournament next year.

Due to other committments & somehow not making the finals, any idea of who won the different events?

Cheers,

Paul
