I am looking for a place to play near Canary Wharf or in the City around Green Park. I am also looking for someone to play with. I last played about 6 years ago. I want to take it up again. I currently do not own a racket since I recently moved here from New York. If anyone wants to get together and play let me know.

Vorpy's Crash Course in Constructing a Badminton Racket:

1. Find a large, straight stick.
2. Roll the stick on the floor until the radius of the stick is the same in every place.
3. Take a trip to the seaside.
4. Find a 3 year old sitting in one of those doughnut shaped floats.
5. Place both hands under one side of the float and push upwards.
6. When child has fallen off the float, grab the float and do a runner.
7. If the child appears to be drowning, get a lifeguard to save them.
8. Place stick inside the plastic nozzle through which you would usually blow air into the float.
9. Get some string and rap it round the outside of the float.
10. Write 'Yonex' on the stick.

And there you have it; a nice new badminton racket. I doubt anyone would even notice the difference.

I am interested in the ladder. Would love to find some people to play with. Weekends are good with me except Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00. I have dance class. Everything else works. Let me know. Thanks for the websites.
