Is there something wrong here?
Isn't this 'world class start' thing designed to improve potential world class players, and to do this offer coaching etc. So let me tell you what they have done about it. The people that were selected for this 'world class' are already in the england team. I know they are very good players, but what about all of the other potential players?

There is a certain Yorkshire player who was at the ICT, and i was told by their coach that although she was not considered to be world class, she actually won a tornament consisting of all the world class people!!!

This has inspired me to keep going, and that you must not let anyhing get in the way of your ambitions

Gill... you should keep going. You should definately be inspired by the way you played over the last 4 days - it was great, especially your great mixed with Graham!

You got 5 points off a top england U17 player in your singles and you are 14!! You should keep going as you are defintely, without a doubt, very gifted!!

I think i know who you are Gill!

You are the dark haired girl with the killer smash and clear who had that Yorkshire girl banging her racquet on the floor!!!

The whole of Nottingham erupted every point you scored.

Alex is right, keep going!!!

there are people that have got world class potential, but they have been missed!

Jason-

It was really funny. 'Lamsy-the sacrificed lamb' was what i was and i wasnt expected to get any points against her! even she was laughin at the noise of when i did get a point!

Yeah i agree the world class start thing has just taken the ppl who were in the england squad and got them more coaching 4 free.It hasnt done nething 2 help ppl who r talented but dont get the coaching, it will only create gap between the england players and those below them and there will be no competition for places.

Alex m8 there is nufin i disagree with at all there, they may have been in the england squad at the time of selections but who said that they wouldnt be overtaken or beaten in the week after that.and im not going to say names but the wcs are defending themselves by saying we are givivng trials for anyone-but who r the only ppl who seem to get in4 them-the ENGLAND PLAYERS!
