Sunday - finals
Rajiv Ouseph beat Nick Kidd in two tight games to lift the men's singles title
at the ASICS Wimbledon National Elite Open this afternoon and beat his Bucks rival
to a place in the Grand Final in Bath on December 12.
There he will meet Nathan Rice, whom he beat in the semi-finals at Wimbledon
Rackets and Fitness Club.
Michelle Cheung added the Wimbledon title to her ASICS Yorkshire Elite by beating
former England player Rebecca Pantaney.
David Lindley took two Wimbledon titles - the men's doubles with Chris Langridge
and the mixed doubles with Suzanne Rayappan.
But the big shock came in the women's doubles where Rayappan and Jenny Wallwork
were beaten by Marianna Agathangelou and Gabby White 26-24 14-21 21-19

Sunday - semi-finals
REBECCA PANTANEY, the former England international from Gloucestershire, surprised
ASICS Elite Open points leader Rachel Howard today when she won their semi-final
at Wimbledon Rackets and Fitness Club.
The pair clashed in the ASICS Wimbledon National Elite Open, the third and final
qualifier before the ASICS Grand Finals in Bath on December 12.
Howard, who was runner-up to Michelle Cheung in the opener at the ASICS Yorkshire
Elite but turned the tables last month in the ASICS Sussex Elite, already has
enough points to qualify for the Grand Finall.
But Pantaney beat her 16-21 21-17 21-19 to earn a crack at Cheung in the final.
The men's final will between Nick Kidd and Rajiv Ouseph - and the winner is likely
to qualify for the Grand Final against Nathan Rice. Ouseph beat Rice in the semi-finals
21-19 21-14 while National champion Kidd beat Tom Dunlop (Lancs) in straight games.
But Rice leads the points standings on 265 going into Wimbledon and his semi-final
points will be enough to book his final place.
SUNDAY'S RESULTS
Men's singles semi -finals:
Nick Kidd (Bucks) bt Tom Dunlop (Lancs) 21-18, 21-7
Rajiv Ouseph (Middx) bt Nathan Rice (Bucks) 21-19, 21-14

Rebecca Pantaney (Gloucs) bt Rachel Howard (Herts) 16-21, 21-17, 21-19
Michelle Cheung (Bucks) bt Helen Davies (Cheshire) 21-13, 21-12
Saturday
TOM DUNLOP of Lancashire stunned twice National champion Aamir Ghaffar of Middlesex
to reach the semi-finals of the ASICS Wimbledon National Elite Open at Wimbledon
Rackets and Fitness Centre this afternoon.
Dunlop won the closest of the quarter-finals 21-18 24-22 to earn a crack at reigning
National champion Nick Kidd in Sunday morning's semi-finals.
Nathan Rice (pictured) faces Rajiv Ouseph in the other semi-final in a fascinating
three-way fight for the two places in the Grand Final in Bath on December 12.
Rice looks good for Bath but Ouseph needs to win the Wimbledon title to join
him there. If he loses to Rice then Kidd and Rice should face each other in Bath.
The match of the day in the women's singles came in the second round where joint
leader Rachel Howard faced Caroline Westley. Howard scraped home 21-18 19-21 21-18
and then went on to claim her semi-final place alongside the other points leader
Michelle Cheung.
Cheung had beaten Howard in the ASICS Yorkshire Elite in September but Howard
turned the tables in the ASCIS Sussex Elite last month to leave them level on
300 points.
Gloucestershire's former England player Rebecca Pantaney is the surprise semi-finalist
at Wimbledon after beating Jo Dix 21-6 22-20 in the quarters.
